Junior High to be expanded
The school board has approved a bid for Cole Russell architects to design a plan to expand the Junior High. This expansion will provide four additional classrooms, which are needed for today’s student population and which will be supplemented with modulars when the larger 4th & 5th grade classes hit the JH in a few years.
The new wing will be designed to be a discrete part of the plan for future expansion, in compliance with OSFC requirements. It will include four classrooms and a set of restrooms in a one-story facility. No current classrooms or other space will be lost.
This plan was also discussed in depth at the February 4 work session. If you would like to see the full presentation, click here.
